I am finally setting up a new reef after being out of the hobby for about a year. Here are the specs, any comments/suggestions would be appreciated, although most equipment is already bought.

Tank: 90gal, 36w x 30d x 20h (90gal) bought of Eposer.

Lighting: Dual 400w canopy from aquariumlight.com w/ 14k bulbs
http://www.aquariumlight.com/product_info.php?dbid=134. ~9wpg

Flow: Tunze 6060 (1600gph) + ~500gph return (after head loss). 23x turnover

Skimmer: Going with a DIY downdraft skimmer for now, might add another skimmer if necessary later

Calcium: Aquatic Essentials Kalk reactor hooked up to an auto topoff. Probably going to add a calcium reactor when necessary

Sump: haven't decided yet... probably around 30gal
Misc: running an aquaclear 300 w/ seagel 24/7

Going to be mostly SPS I think... should have it up an running in a few weeks... i hope, pending my tax refund!

Comments? Suggestions?

What is your substrate choice for your tank? That tank has some great dimensions. Best of luck to you!

just a thought for ya. when i had a 75g running i had a 50 gallon sump which significatly reduced the microbubble returned to the tank, although i didn't want any powerheads in the tank so my turnover was about 3500gph. number of bafolds was also key. it also helped smoothout any spikes in the water quality
