The bulb will need to cool before it can be re-fired. Try it again in 5 - 10 minutes or so.

alright, i'll give that a try, another question I have is, does anyones mh hurt there eyes? I kind of wish I had a better reflector or something, because the way its set up it hits the corner of my eyes when i'm sitting in my computer chair....its starting to really bug my eyes...

Any super bright light next to your eyes will hurt after a while

Be warned though, if you have a double ended bulb you need to shield it with a piece of glass as it puts out a ton of UV.

Who cares what it says, does it matter? Haha...

Your ballast probably has a re-start thingy ( i forget the proper term ) You can't plug it in, unplug and go back to turn it on. It needs at least 5 minutes before you can turn it back on. Some kind of safety feature or something.

Sorry I'm not too informative.. bottom line: If you unplug it and plug it back in right away, it won't fire. You need to wait a few minutes.

some one posted that the light gives off strong UV rays .so use it like a UV sterlizer. it was a joke.
