Also check out industrial paints & plastics. www.ippnet.com
I got all the acrylic i needed there to build my calcium and kalkwasser reactors and skimmer. They have a wall of just off cuts of acrylic.

Just went to Plastic Works, picked up a 4" x 6' acrylic tube for $70.
Great place, lots of cut-offs of flat stock, good guys to deal with.
Don't bother going to Industrial Plastics in Langley, they moved to new location and don't have any-cut offs anymore.

The best places I have found to get off-cut sheet is glass shops. They make countertop protectors and shatter proof windows out of it and small pieces are almost worthless to them. Just dont let them sell you lexan. They tend to have more lexan than acrylic and will try and sell you that instead believing that lexan is stronger.
