I've been trying for quite some time to get good pictures of my Clownfish and Mandarin.

Great pics. I think the brain, though, is not what is normally called a brain. I think it belongs in the Cynarina family (aka Cat's eye or doughnut coral). That first pic really captures the beauty of the frogspawn too.

I really appreciate the info on the Brain.. or not so Brain coral. It was labeled a Symphilia at the store, but I was skeptical. It does definately look like a Cynarina Coral of some sort.. I'm off to do more research on it.

that mandarin looks good. ive got one on hold from ocean aquatics. hopefully will get him in a couple of weeks :)

Those were taken with a reduced flash, high shutter speed, low aperature, and low exposure. I can't tell you exact numbers because I played with them constantly and I'm not sure which were used for those pictures exactly. I'm still getting used to this camera..

I played with the first image abit more in photoshop and came up with a version I liked better. I have a 1280x1024 version as my desktop background, there is quite a difference.

Wonderful pictures - nice and sharp. I really like the mandarin pictures.

Those were taken with a reduced flash, high shutter speed, low aperature, and low exposure. I can't tell you exact numbers because I played with them constantly and I'm not sure which were used for those pictures exactly. I'm still getting used to this camera..

there are programs that will view tha picture info and you can see all your camera settings with it. I have it somewhere and it is free where let me look for it.

Nice pics. I need to start saving for a better camera that I can tweak the settings on, and have better zoom than 3x.
