have a question
i have a arrow crab that looks like he go into a fight with another arrow and lost.
now has no front claws
will these grow back?
or should i just put it out of its misery?

Claws grow back. Needs a molt though.

IME, arrow crabs are bad news. Once they get to a certain size, the can and will go after your fish. Beware!

yes they do eat fish when bigger but for now they llike eating bristle worms.....

Maybe give it some shrimp tail tips for raw material to produce its new shell. I think iodine is also supposed to be needed for good molts (at least with shrimp it is). If the crab survives till the next molt, it'll be fine.

they go after fish and fingers... didn't last long in my tank after stabbing me :evil:

We had one for a while but the moment I saw him pulling a hermit crab out of it's shell, the arrow crab was banished to the sump. Too bad though, I think they are the coolest looking crab!
