I'd have to agree with you on this.

Can I have a bad attitude too? :p

Actually today was a great day - weather was decent for a family day, got a new Fender bass amp and my girlfirend bought a drop dead beautiful wine red mohagany Gibson Les Paul (I'm trying my best not to let on that I am jealous as heck!)

Actually, most of the attitude was from someone who has now single-handed converted me to Pro-Choice. I wonder if anyone at AI reads these postings? Good customer relations from someone who thinks his ammonia spike tests prove he knows-it-all.

Hope the rest of you had a good day off.

heh heh.

Want to know how much they know about seahorses... ask how the thirtieth breeding attempt is going. Or where the dozen horses went from the fireplace.

Sorry, bad attitude breeds bad attitude.

Too bad it can't breed sea horses.

There I go again.

See, now this is more like it. Laughing, joking. No attitude, just an appreciation for our addictions.

Mr. Alberta - Love that diagram. Hehehehehe

Bev - No diagram for you.
Really, Bev your postings are informative & well written. Make SHF feel smarter, not dumber.

Peace,

Anthony

I had to work yesterday, it wasn't a holiday at my office.
P.S. Not because I work in retail, it is not a national holiday.

Just want to defend AI about one thing
the post with:

Want to know how much they know about seahorses... ask how the thirtieth breeding attempt is going. Or where the dozen horses went from the fireplace.

Raising seahorses is a very difficult thing. Especially Reidi's. I don't fault AI in the least by their lack of success. Most would not be able to do better
I have been wanting to try seahorses myself..but am waiting for a few months
However, according to all of the research I have seen it is not a easy task.
Getting the SH to breed and have babies...easy
Feeding the little buggers...almost impossible.

just my 2 cents on that....

Neal

BTW..if anyone knows somewhere i can get captive bred SH, it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass that info on.
thanks

Neal,

Larger specis of SHs give birth to tons of very small fry. For the first few weeks, they can only eat rotifers. When I have been there, I saw that AI is only feeding them newly hatched bbs. That's where they are going wrong. I have mentioned it to a couple of staff while looking at the fry, but these have probably not been the staff member responsible for the fry.

With regards to that entire thread, I'm beginning to think we may have been trolled. Just a hunch, with nothing to back me up, but it somehow stinks of a troll to discredit AI. Or maybe not, and they have a truly lousy employee.

I'd be inclined to say troll also, but the poster didn't post that he worked there in the thread in question.

He answered in another thread with this:

AI has never sold cleaner shrimp for 45$?
yes i work there, but the only shrimo over 40$ is fireshrimp

and AI is a hell of alot better then place like big als, where they have 1 filter for the whole saltwater section...1 fish has a disease...the whole system has it.

We have a filter for each bank of fish AND we quarentine them for 2 weeks.

and reef roids are 20$

so you dont have to worry about us "stealing" your money...because really...your paying for quality.

Since that time, the user has edited his profile to remove that he works at a pet store.

BTW

He's 15 years old (According to his profile).

Good chance he'll smarten up a bit and be an A+++ poster in the future. :)

He's just a little boy thinking he knows a lot.

Trolled or not, he has a terrible attitude, ettiquet, and horrible spelling. I'm betting he'll be banned, or have moved on within a month.

:) also-- did anyone think of mentioning him to Ron (the manager of AI?) im sure he would be quite interested in discussing a matter like this with his staff (who for the most part, are great people)
