Hey guys got a 75gallon aquarium 4' long with overflows on both ends. Just wondering what size of pump you would recommend as in gallons per hour. Also i know i saw this question somewhere before but can't find it. As I have a plumbing business I have lots of wholesalers and wondered if there is any sort of pumps they would handle that would work. Do i just have to make sure that is doesn't contain any oil or is there other variables??? Thanks for the help guys!!!

Not sure about other types of pumps, but for your tank, dont rely on the return pump doing most of your water flow, or you could end up with microbubbles if your turn your sump over too fast. (can be solved with lots of baffles potentially, or a larger sump though)

If would use something like a mag 7 for your return pump (depending on sump size) then put a larger pump on a closed loop, like a mag 9 or 12, depending on head pressure. Aim for 15x total flow IMO.
