Hi all,
I live in Surrey. I am going to order an Aquasafe water filter. We can get better pricing if we order more than 4 units. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in joining in?

me and a couple friends were talking about each getting one, I'll have to confirm, but likely in for two, and possibly 3 systems. If you could let me know what kind of deal you have worked out that would be cool.

Doug - could you put me down for one AQUA SAFE REVERSE OSMOSIS 100 GPD MEMBRANE aswell - system has done me well -
you guys that want to buy whole units you should either buy extra filters or split a case between 2 of you. Saves time in the long run - the R/O 100 gpd membrane is good for 4-5 years so an extra is not really needed at this point for you.
Cheers and thanks
Rich
Let me know if you order :D

They are located in North Vancouver - what has turned me off is the fact that shipping is still charged on this - when I could easily go and pick it up. However they are good systems, I have been running one for 2 years without a hitch.

When you guys get the price list, I'd be interested in a dual-inline TDS meter and maybe some other goodies for mine.

WOW!!! Didn't expect this big a response. Under 10 units looks like it would be CAD$115 and this includes shipping to our store in south surrey. With all your responses the price may change. Still waiting for a quote on the maximus units. I have also asked for membrane and prefilters quote. Stay tuned.

I am using a single cartridge tap water purifier picked up at a lfs. A true RODI sounds like the way to go from what I am reading on this site and others. Love to get the details on whats available and pricing. Is there a web site on these Aqua Safe products?

does anyone know what the diffrence is between the "aquarium" and "home" unit? it looks like the aquarium unit comes without a tank but costs more so i must be missing something. also how often do you need to change the di beeds?
Apparently the home unit is only RO and the others have DI as well.
According to the pdf.

the pic in that link looks like it has a di unit on the top with the colour change beads.
They probably switched the middle and last pics around by mistake.

Home unit doesn't have the DI... I think the thing in the picture is the post filter for taste... not DI
As for the beads I have been using them for about 8 months and they are just starting to change now.

We were assured they were working on it. Looking at about 12 units and 5 cases of filters and some membranes. Will post the prices as soon as we get them.

Depending on price... I'd probably take one, and if anyone wants to split a box of filters....
Any other Calgarians interested??
