Well, from 10am to 3pm today I cleaned my tank. What I did:

- cleaned the entire skimmer
- cleaned both seio pumps
- took my fluval 404 offline.
- siphoned out & removed as much nasties I could.
- did a 10g water change.
- moved some corals and added some new ones.

I also added 5 turbo snails and an emerald crab to my system on Saturday. I haven't seen the emerald since introducing him though. I hope he's still alive.

I know it doesn't sound like much, but my equipment was pretty gunked up. I plan to keep on top of everything now, I won't let any more buildup take over my tank walls. The tank looks amazing now in person.. I'll never be able to take a decent shot with my camera. Anyways enough blabber .. took a couple pictures.

New full tank shot as of today.

Here's the ID I was wondering about. My guess is green slimer.. if that's the case I already have a frag of it, but that's fine, I am a sucker for green SPS. (and yes I can see there is some minimal damage to the tips .. my friggin' red mille colony fell over on it. argh)

And a new hammer coral I picked up this weekend... I love these things, glad I got myself one.

And I can't leave out this guy.. weird thing is I have had him for over 4 and a half months. He does not eat any meaty foods, flakes, anything. I worried for a bit but he's a fat little bugger, so he must be maintaining off my algae (which I have a never-ending supply of  )

Well, there's my fun Sunday.. whoo hoo hah.. ?

I am going to venture a guess.... green branching acropora?

Seriously though I think it is hard to say. I have seen 3 different slimers and they all look different. There are so many species of branching acropora and I'm sure a lot of them come in green.

Honestly the only thing I noticed about mine is it actually is really slimy to the touch! Does the new one feel slimy? Did it produce much slime when you put it in the tank?

Yeah it slimed up like a mad man when I touched it, hence why I assume it's green slimer. Also, the two just look very similar.
