I am replacing my tank with a 150g corner tank so it is now for sale

I would like to sell it as one unit but may consider parting it out if there is no response.

Equipment:

230G tank with starfire front
3x250w HQI lighting setup. This is a DIY stainless steel fixture that I purchased from Dez.
40 G Sump (needs to have baffles replaced)
Mag 1800 return pump

Plain wood stand not too purdy as I was going to cover it with mdf and moldings

Asking Price $1500....

Notes:

There is a hazy patch on the front glass where I am in the process of polishing out some scratches. I will be ordering a kit from http://www.gtglass.com/ that will take care of this but would be willing to negotiate on the price if you decided that you wanted to polish it out your self. The scratches will for sure come out it is just a matter of ordering the kit and taking the time to do it (kit costs ($35.00 US)

e-mail me at joel_goldsney@hotmail.com if you are interested

Pictures will be coming but I Do have some in my gallary

What are the measurements of the tank???

If not bought as a whole how much for just the tank, and perhaps the light?????

The tank is 72" long 30" tall by 24" deep
Less the pump and sump
I guess I would take $1200......
The stand is essentialy a freebie as I don't know if it is worth anything to anybody.

The pump and sump are only worth $150 at most so the value is mostly in the tank and lights.

What do you think?

Joel,

Do you know off hand if the tank has a floating bottom or not?

Its how the bottom of the tank is made.
Is the bottom panel cut to fit inside the four walls, or do the four walls sit on the bottom panel?
