Anyone got any ideas on how to get enough water flow through a countercurrent skimmer without getting alot of micro bubbles flowing out the bottom of the skimmer into the tank?

CounterCurrent skimmers are meant to run at a very slow rate, speeding it up will only increase the microbubble problem.

Ya thanks, the flow is very low but I still have the micro bubble problem, any suggestions on a filter of some sort that would allow water circulation without letting the bubbles through?

A very fine screen with some filter floss over it might help, but only provided you can remove this for cleaning easily enough? Just a suggestion, but im worried it might plug too quickly with gunk.

Well then, if it's a air driven skimmer, try raising the airstones 3-4". Recirc Venturi, may require more work, likely trying to direct the flow upwards, or relocating the injection point higher.
