very good.

I was wondering if you could explain how you did the left side border with the main page changing and it staying put

Coralm,

Thanks. smile.gif

It's all done with frames. the main homepage calls two separate pages to be displayed. one is the navigation frame on the left. and the other is the main viewing area. the navigation doesn't change nor does the main homepage. only the actual main viewing area changes pages.

That is exactly the kind of website I want. How hard is it to do that? It will be really easy to navigate. Good work Darren.

started this last night before I went to bed Troy.

it's that easy for me to do.

I just redid all the colors in the last hour. it used to be burgundy. now blue. :D

Keep in mind I had the code for it written from a pervious web page. that took me a while to work out. ;)

Looks good, what are you using for an Editor?

Very nice and clean Darren.

One technical thing I noticed is that as your list is expanded in the menu frame, the frame does not allow scrolling so items pushed down are out of reach until a higher heading is collapsed again.

Just an observation. Can't wait to see more content.

Andrew,

hmmm so we can teach an old dog new tricks. ;)

I have always done my nav bars this way.. I don't like having scroll bars in them. Takes up valuable space. They clutter the screen up too much IMO. Thanks tho. smile.gif

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Alan,

mmm blue.. It used to be maroon this morning. A friend of mine in advertising suggested these colors. I kinda like em. :D Soothing. smile.gif

Kim,

I jump between Front Page, Word and Dreamweaver interdev. Prefer the text editor tho. That was how I learned.

Troy has been talking with me about a site. Homestead is going to cost to much for us here, at least IMO. Thats a very nice offer Darren. As for want, I doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. :D I will even bring the steaks & beer when I come. {or veggie burgers} smile.gif

I am getting much better at using my computer for other purposes than reading boards, but not much. :D Besides losing my tank sitter when I left Thompson,I lost my computer guru. {my son works there}.

Well later guys. I am leaving for Winnipeg now. Three hour drive. Going to stop by Jaysons later. He has some new skimmers ready to go. Just going to just look at them,{yea right, my wife says}. :D

Doug,

If you are makin the trip out this summer bring some ideas.. We can sit at Troy's and figure out what you want. Then give me a week et, voila! :D

It doesn't take much really. As long as you have an idea I can work with it.

May have to use e-mail also. This summer is up in the air. To soon since moving. I need to have both tanks on cruise before departing. Out here in the country, its very hard to find a good tank sitter and my system is not very simple.

Has to be in the not to distant future though. Few years since seeing my brother. :(
