Wow! I didn't know JD's came in such colours! Do they last to maturity?

Those are beautiful fish.

They are a rare mutation of the normal JD. From what I've read, you have to do breed a blue male to a regular female, then raise the young & breed the blue father to his daughter fish to get some electric blue mutants. They are also supposed to be smaller & less aggressive than regular JDs.

As for adult colouration, I think they remain blue but not as electric as the juv.

Actually the Blue Dempsy gets nicer as it ages.

Question: How many people have actualy seen a pic of a mature Blue dempsey?
I know i have only seen one.
