Picked up the 20pc Diamond point bit set fom Princess Auto. Know with a diamond hole saw to use water, but water needed with the die grinder bits?

no matter what you need to keep the bits cool. So yes, lots and lots of water.. build a dam where around the site you are cutting and fill it with water.

Where in Princess Auto are they? I looked in the one in Kelowna here and couldn't find them. I will be in Edmonton early Febuary so if I can't find them here I will look then. Thanks for the info.

What you can do is tape a round item around the hole with duct tape and fill it with water to keep things cool.

Just set aside plenty of time to do it with those bits...it takes a while

No, they go quick, took me less than 5 minutes to cut and trim for 3 - 1/2" bulkheads.

Personally I just prefer to have a hose pouring onto the work surface, but I peirce straight through, then cut the hole to size, not this 1/4 of the way per pass stuff.

They're in with the rest of the dremel and drill bits.

Oh man I just about had a heart attack before I drilled 10 holes in my 190g acrylic. I don't think there is any way I would ever try glass. I did run across this thread on Reef Central though that I though was very good as it includes pictures for drilling a glass tank that might be informative.
