Boy I wish you had posted a couple of months ago. That is the exact same size as the Tenecor tank I just had delivered (still at Freightways till I can get to pick it up on Monday). Even down to the center overflow!

More than I planned but it was about $2000US. I went with a custom overflow so that added to the price and then of course shipping! How come you are selling? Also it is glass or acrylic..........hmmm 2 300g cubes??? You can pm me if you like.

Ohhhh my. What an incredible tank that would be to have.

Pretty sure I couldn't fit it down my staircase :( Stupid bendy staircase!! Best of luck selling it.

Just out of curiousity, what thickness of glass does it use? Any panels starphire?

PS. Moving to the buy/sell h/w forum..

since stinkys not here i think it was 1/2 glass with a 4 or 6" brace running all the way around the top and bottom also made of 1/2 ,might have been thicker but i cant remember,

Is there a stand included with it?

Skimmer Juice
01-26-2006, 08:12 PM
no stand just tank and sump the whole reason Im selling the tank is because the cheapest stand I could get a quote for was $1500. Just for the stand.

You should be able to get a steel stand for a whole lot less than that

I was told it would rust out in a year.

I have been using a metal stand bought from Gold Aquariums now for well over 4-5 years with no problems.

Just gotta keep the water off the stand and in the tank where it belongs!!!

I've been using a steel stand under my 135 for 2.5 years. I built a wood skirt around it so it's the best of both worlds. Strong because it's steel, nice looking because of the wood skirt. The steel is cheap and I din't have to use much wood because it just goes around the outside. I actually built the skirt part of of solid oak because I didn't have to use that much....

I hope this helps.
