Is this still available? Is it fairly easy to hook up. Do I need anything else to be up and running?

It is about 3'tall I can email you a pic. Aside from that paying for it and showing up is about all that is required...

Not sure if my question was understood, I don't know how to operate one of these, however do think it would be of bennifit to my set up. do I need any other equipment to have this work on my tank(ie Pumps Etc), is this something that is difficult to get set up properly?

I don't think you NEED this Rob, it's more so a WANT. If your system isn't a full blown reef with tons of corals and what not, I wouldn't bother , this is MY OPINION though... just seems like you wanted some insight on it. I would just stick to dosing calcium and alk.

I don't think they are super hard to set up, but hard to tune in and fine tune, etc.... could be wrong though.

You know I could be mistaken but I was sure that this was the BUY/SELL forum.

Not the counsel your fellow reefer forum. Post like these are non-constructive and do nothing but blur the fact the a fellow reefer is trying to sell a kalk reactor.

My personal opinion would be that if you feel the need to counsel Rob or any other Canreef member perhaps you would be better suited to do it in a PM rather than in the general forum.

EmilyB, sorry for high jacking your post. I have seen the kalk reactor myself and it's a good deal.

Well, I didn't hook it up but you basically need a timer for the pump (included) to mix the kalk a few times a day. The unit connects to your autotopoff and that's about it.

That's about as technical as I can get sorry.

Thanks Trev.
