I found this guy in my reef tank. I'm suspecting he's been hiding out in my red mushrooms since he's exactly the same color.
I pulled him out and threw him in my quarantine tank...
Do you know if he's good or bad? If he's good I dont want him to starve in the QT tank, but if he's bad I couldnt care less :D
Excuse the terrible pics... I need a macro lens ;)

Just so ya know that is not the regular flat worm people have. Some sort of nudi
type thing I think. I may be wrong it's hard to tell in the pic.

Yeah its pretty small.... and I looked through google images for a while and the closest I could come to finding something that looked like it was some sort of a red flatworm....
There are no distinguishing features on it... its just flat and a little 'ripply' near the edges.

"This bright red flatworm was tiny (about 2cm). But it was moving about actively among the seaweed. These red flatworms appear to be seasonally abundant."

A limpet has a shell... its like a mollusk.
I saw that pic of that guy... and its similar...
guess it cant be that bad. I must have been living in the tank for ages and I've seen no ill effects on anything.
But if I put it back in I wont get it out again... hehe

You could have a look at the Hitchiker FAQ. If you don't find it there maybe post it on Ron shimek's forum on RC.
