Where is the photo gallery and how do I add an avatar? Just when I figure out the old board it changes

Yeah I have been trying to find the gallery but can't seem to locate it!!!

To add an Avatare go to users CP on the top menu?

Went there and then went to edit avatar but there was no where to change it.

where did the smilies go?
