We're considering selling our house in the near future, to downsize to something smaller.

Can anyone recomment neighborhoods to look at or to avoid? We're in North Glenora now, and we're looking for a condo or townhouse I think.

Either or...

looking for dog friendly, and of course with enough space to probably put a 200g tank in there somewhere.

*edit

Just something small enough for Kevin and I while I finish school.

Strathern, Nice and quiet. Houses are smaller than most condo's. I love it out here. (North of Bonnie Doon Mall if you weren't sure)

I'm a NE guy it has almost everything I want here including no traffic I go to the south or the west and I turn into a road rager not used to that traffic.

I've always lived in the South and absolutely love it.... but then again I don't have to travel downtown to work everyday. We have South Edmonton Common, Calgary is easy access, all the harware stores we need (home depot, Rona, Canadian Tire)....

We lived in a 2 storey condo before and we bought for around 84 000 dollars....cheaper condos that were very practical and we had 2 dogs. Wished we could've kept it to rent out...

Anyway, hope this helps....

And we had a 150 gallon, 180 gallon, a 54 gallon and a 7 gallon on the main floor with one of the tanks plumbed into the basement.

This was in the yellowbird area, near the old heritage mall....close to Southgate as well

Moved out of the area but my vote would be Idylwylde, east of Bonnie Doon.

Houses are 800 to around 1200sqft, 1950 vintage. Good transportation as bounded by 82 ave/90 ave, 75st/83st. Slow traffic within as few areas where street go 45°, some of trees had to be removed but still lots of mature ones around.
