Another newbie in Manitoba!

Hi, my names Shawn. I've reading on the forums for quite a while and finally signed up after I just purchased my 60 gallon tank ( used) off a guy in Brandon. It's just a start but I got to start somewhere. Looking forward to chatting with all you guys!! :razz:

I live in Virden..not Brandon. But I'm not that far away. Looking for more stuff. also to get going. I got an overflow box with the tank also

whats your first name and what type of tank are you planning on running in the future.

Are you goign to have a sand bed or bare bottom.

TOo bad you have a tank i have a complete setup tha im selling stand canopy and tank with drilled overflow.

I love that tank setup. Do ya still have it as I might be interested still. Is there a sump included in that price?

No its not me Yes the setup is still here and i'm trying to sell it so i can get my new tank from Jamie at best west...

no the sump is not included since i will be using it for my bigger tank.

the setup up is a steal with out it if you compare the prices of a tank and a stand, but with this u are getting a canopy complete with cooling fans and a night light. i have another person looking at it too, by the way if you want to look at it contact tomorrow ok

I volunteer my place for a meeting...except someone would probably have to be awarded the long distance award, seeing how most of the new guys are from Brandon or that area.

Meetings would be nice as I'm just getting into this hobby. Any info I can get is good. I didn't realize that there was so many people into saltwater in Manitoba :smile:

Actually there are lots in Winnipeg that never got on to this ste yet. And lots in brandon to they are startign to come out.
