I don't want to take down my unit but the tank is falling apart and i'm repairing leaks so often it's not even funny. Salt is starting to encrust the whole tank and i can't afford to buy a new one.
I just have to get rid of it.

You've got to be kidding! How big is the tank you need to replace? I have a 50g drilled that isn't pretty, but it holds water & you can see into it... figure a way for someone to drop it off to you and you can use it until you can afford to buy your own.... that's a shame man! Any reefers from Van wanna offer up the same?
