Sold! to some lucky buyer for only $155.50US + $20 shipping.

That's $600CDN (J&L) worth of skimmer for less than $300CDN!

Damn this cruel world!

Have you guys heard about ESnipe?
http://www.esnipe.com/

For a small fee, you can use the service to make your bid with a few seconds left in the auction. I know that I've been outbid by people using this service before. I was looking for USRobotics I-Modems a few years ago and they always outbid me with less than 10 seconds to go. Of course, if other people are using the same service, the highest bidder will get it. But the idea of sniping is to not give other people a chance to outbid you early in the auction, and to not show interest in the item to anyone early in the auction.

By the look of things, the winner here must have used some auction sniping service as his winning bid was placed 9 seconds before the auction closed.

I popped my head onto eBay yesterday for the first time in a long while, checked out lighting and skimmers.

Came across a PM CV626 with a 4" waste collector, and was the high bidder at $127.50US with 6 hours to go. images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Damnit, got outbid this morning!

It's a little rich for me now at $150US + $20US shipping (less than $300CDN), but it's still half of regular price for anyone who's got the cash. Seller wrote me back and said it's in perfect condition, only used 4 months.

Man that would have been a kick-ass upgrade for my tank! If only I could afford $300 right now. images/smiles/icon_sad.gif
