I picked up the Jager 250W heater because of quality and the box reads "submersible". When I opened the box I noticed the 'waterline level' mark reads 'do not immerse beyond water level'. Some ads online say yes...others say not completely. I read one post saying that they are but havent got UL listing in N. America yet for submersible...so they cannot advertise this until acceptance! Does anyone have these units fully submersed out there. Its for my sump
Thanks

No worries, they are fully submersible. I think there'd be a whole lotta fried tanks out there if they weren't! Same goes for most powerheads, they have a 'water line' on them too.

I thought so. the 'wording' on the heater itself threw me off

yes, the "waterline" is only there for legal purposes
