Hey Titus,

Now I know this is a matter of semantics, but...

Your counter in the top banner of your website reads "visits", but it is actually counting "hits". There is a big difference between the two. "Visits" are unique users that come to the site, and only one is counted per day per page on your site. A "hit" is any time any person clicks on any page in your site, or refreshes a page.

If you want to be truthful to your sponsors, it should read hits. But if you want an accurate representation of how many unique users are coming to your site each day, you should set the counter to count visits.

Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do?

Hey Andrew,

You guys are causing so much trouble, geesh images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for letting me know about this. Actually, one of the computers I use only causes the counter to update per visit, not hits.

Titus
