Hi There
I have a reef tank that is several years old now.
I have had a small problem. I have a fair number100+ of small bristle worms.
All of a sudden tonight they started spitting out a milk like cloud into the water. My 90 gallon tank is now all cloudy and my fish are going crazy.

what is going on???

Please help

Jon

Well you could stop playing the Barry White so close to the tank

Cleaner shrimp, coral banded shrimp and arrow crabs are eaters of bristleworms. I wouldn't think it would be so bad, food for your corals and it will maybe give your skimmer a workout

Depending on how cloudy your tank is, I'd be thinking of doing a water change and maybe throwing an air-stone in your tank to keep your water oxygenated. I'd also run some carbon as well. When you say "fish are going crazy" are they swimming around gasping/breathing heavy, or are they eating this chum filled water?

hmmm, can't give you much help but it might be better asking in the reef forum instead of the DIY forum
