Picked up a used Kent RO/di 60GPD unit. Changed all the prefilters and DI cartridge, I am getting a fast drip only out of the unit. with a large amount of discharge.

Does this sound right? I though it would have a steady stream, not a drip?

Nope, there is probably about a 4:1 ratio of bad to good water. A fast drip is pretty darned good IMO.

Checked all line, lots of pressure into RO section, not much coming out. Dump waterout of RO is big. Maybe the flow restricotr is hooped? lots coming out of that, or is it more likley a problem with the RO membrane?

There is no problem with the system, there is way way way more waste water then good water, a fast drip is all your going to get.

you may want to think about a booster pump if your water pressure is low.

The TDS reading out of the RO membrane is 0PPM, and it is also 0 out of the DI cartridge. This is the fancy machine I brought home from work (water/Pop plant) and is very accurate.

I think Ill bump the house pressure a little. From my calculations it is producing at 50GPD, rated at 60GPD. now I just need to buy a pressure guage

to find out what you are getting at 60 gpd you should flow 190 ml / min so 1/2 a cup is 125ml so you should get about 3/4 of a cup in 1 min if you are getting full flow.
