If that is the quad style you may be a bit off on pricing. J&L sells the Coralife for $52.50. And yes I am interested, but not at that price.

These bulbs are much better quality than the coralife bulbs they will replace.
I have heard the Coralife bulbs are very yellow when light up next to these bulbs.

That is not true really. I have the Coralife, and the colour is quite nice. I am supplementing with a Sunpac 32W 50/50 bulb, and that really makes the colour outstanding. Even by itself the colour is a purplish blue. And yes CSL has been out of business for quite awhile.

I also have the Coralife unit, but I have read that head to head or really side by side, the coralife is really yellow.

Does it matter if CSL has been out of business for 3 years? The fact that these bulbs must be brand new old stock is really all there is to think about.

I thought this was the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. Not the "foul up the other guy's sale" forum.

SOL? they are light bulbs not ballasts what kind of factory support would you expect to get? what can go wrong with a light bulb that a factory would actually warranty?

Thanks Montey, I love that bulb. It makes the old Coralife bulb look like its 6500K.
I have a new desire to get my 10gal going full speed again.
