I found some "spider-web" like sticky strings in one of the rocks. I remember seeing someone mentioned similar things before, but could no longer find the post. Anyone knows what it is. I tried to siphon most of the strings out during my biweekly water change this afternoon.

If I am right to remmember it is a tyoe of snail.I posted that awhile ago.And I was told it was some sort of snail.I will see if I can find it for you

Vermatid Snail perhaps?

ok if you search under my name as the author and on the second page it says found something weird.I highlightened a bit and paste below.
Sounds to me like a Vermetid snail. If it is there harmless and a good sign that your tank is healthy. Here's an article by Shimek, scroll down to about the middle of the page... http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-01/rs/
There is a link to read on it but its definately vermetid snails it says.
