I am going to be setting up my 90 gallon tank in the next few days, and I was just cleaning it up. However when cleaning it I found a small ding on it. It is one inch from the top of the tankand 1 1/2 inches in from the corner. It is not a crack, rather it appears to have a small piece of glass out of it. It is not very deep into the glass.

My question is, should it be fine to set up?

should be fine - i always fill any new tank to the top outside and let it sit for 3 or 4 days just to be on the safe side - slow leaks etc. It is close enough to the top and close to the structure side for strengh. Personally i don't see a problem but you could always try filling it outside if you have the room - just to be on the safe side.

cheers

I agree.. I would simply just do the "leak test" if your having doubts.. fill it up, let it sit somewhere (where water can't leak and cause damage) and you'll see as to whether or not it could be a problem
