This fish is tiny, only about 1 1/4" long. It is currently housed with four blue-green chromis in a 120g (4' long). Could be housed in a smaller tank, but will need a larger tank at some point as its adult size in the wild is about 7".

Will eat zoos and button polyps, and problably other corals, and is not reef safe. Have seen it eat some macroalgae. It's a beautiful fish, full of character, an active eater and great swimmer.

The reason this butterfly needs a new home is that the chromis are outcompeting it for food and it is not bulking up as it otherwise could with different tankmates.
