Looking for anyone who has had one of these guys. Saw one in the store today thought they looked kinda cool.
1. How did they get along with the other tank mates?
2. Do they dig, I don't want a digger.
Any thought would be great
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Scissortail gobies are not really diggers. They do need a safe cave or tunnel to hide in or they'll feel totally stressed out. Preferably very calm, non-aggressive tankmates or you'll only see them at meal-times (if you're lucky). Had mine for over a year in a very aggressive angelfish/tang tank & these were my observations. Also, need to keep the tank covered for at least the first couple of weeks, since they are notorious jumpers. Once they're settled in, they're less likely to go carpet surfing.
