View Full Version : looking for volunteers to house some of my corals

an unfortunate event happened to my tank early last week and things hasn't improve a single bit.. so i'm looking for volunteers to house my corals for maybe a couple of weeks? i'm still figuring out the culprit .also if i could borrow some test kits that would be great.. right now ph, ca, alk are steady and no change.. but i haven't checked anything else... my pump ran dry monday an dmight have released something in the water. that pump is running great now so i don't think its the pump.. later that day i changed 3 buckets of water so i'm not sure if its the salt as it is newly opened. my nano which i haven't changed any water is doing great . might change some using that new salt and see if it reacts the same way...
i'll for sure know tonight..
thanks

again really appreaciate the help..
hey dan whats going on with the ca reactor? anyways i have to favour the people whos close by first as i don't want to further stress the corals by driving them out far. hope you understand. i'm pretty they'll run out of room though if i need to move the bigger ones

anyways i removed my returned pump just now. no smell nothing just all covered up with hardened up ca. was quite suprised actually to how its still running all this time.. can't even remove the impeller anymore due to the amount of ca stuck to it

Jesse,

I can replace your algaes in the future. Have lots of really healthy prolifera (looks like sword plants). If you want, I can also house your zoos for a while although Hockey Nut is closer & zoo-crazy.
