Looking for recommendations for a local mover in Edmonton for the end of the month.

I'm planning the smaller stuff myself but basically looking for two guys and ~5ton for the heavier/bulkier.

I have always gotten movers out of the bargain finder/ Ed journal they are usually just some guys with cube vans that do it on the weekends for extra cash. I have never had a problem we used them twice over the last 10 years. BUT they only move the furniture and the heavy stuf we move all the boxes n stuff. I never paid over $150 and that was from a forth floor walkup to a bilevel house stair hell

Richer and Newguy were pretty much my movers. Richer practically did the move for me.

$150, I'll be getting the paper tomorrow. Sure beats the couple of quotes I got for $1000+ from the big companies.

Sorry wife corrected me It was $160.50 6 years ago when we moved to this house they did 3 bedroom sets (2 small 1 big) 2 couches 2 loveseats 2 chairs dining room and kitchen table/chairs, big screen tv, washer & dryer, freezer, few heavy boxes from the garage and whatever heavy stuff there was (I know I'm a A-hole) and whats left was easy for us to move. They charged us around 25-30 bucks an hour for 2 guys and their truck/blankets  best money I ever spent  . When we moved from the apartment 10 years ago the 4th floor the wife said it wasn't over $150
