I've grown to not appreciating having a 20G along side my 70G. They are currently hooked in togeather through the sump so they share water quality etc. I've given great thought to shutting down the 20 and moving the rock, fish and corals into the 70G. I am just worried about the tankmates getting along. in the 70G I have a pair of Black Saddleback clowns and in the 20 a pair of false percs. I've heard that one should not mix breeds of clowns, but I wanted to find out if anyone has done so successfully?

I currently have 2 sebae's 2 false percs and a small maroon in my 230. No fighting yet but the maroon will be moving into my 190 when I get it set up.......soon I hope cause he is growing bigger and one of the sebae's has decided that he likes the maroons anemone more than his own. No fighting yet as the sebae is quite a bit bigger and the maroon seems OK with sharing???? I don't think this is normal but is working so far.

fish will interact differently in a 230 than in a 70.... might not be enough space to mix.. might be enough.. but I'd look for results closer to your tank size.

My thoughts, exactly.

I meant to put that in my post as well because there is a lot more room in a 230 than a 70. I don't even like it in a 230 and that is why I am anxious to get my new tank up and running so I can move one.
