Nice pic Jamie, how long did it take to get?
Hey Troy, Still around eh!! I don't know if I was really waiting per say. I've always wanted a red sea regal and J&L happened to get in a fair amount of them at once. So I figured that was a good time to take my pick. It's not often I've seen the red sea variety and even less often enough to pick and choose from. From my understanding it was eating clam meat from the shell in the store. Once it went in my tank it was eating food out of mid water pretty much right away. It was shy at first but now eats with the pack. It did develop Lymphocystis shortly after introduction but it's pretty much cleared up now. So do you have fish in your tank yet?

Not by a long shot. I did get a step closer though, I'm picking up a lighting fixture when I get back from Seachelt on Monday. Been way to busy this summer what with the wedding and all. Fall should be better but then Lisa's pushing hard for another trip to Hawaii so the tank may take a back seat for a while more.
You have any recent pics or links to pics of your system? Hopefully I'll get a free weekend and get out there again.

Ah Yes, Hope all went well and congrats

All went well, thanks (had a chain around her ankle in case she changed her mind).
I'll quit hijacking the picture thread here. I'll get in touch soon about a trip out.

Was a little scrawny when i got her (big als edmonton of all places). Red sea, same as yours. Fed moderatly well on mysis when they fed her at the store. Brought her home, had the lymphocites flare up as well, probably 50-60 on her dorsal and anal fins at its worst, but she always kept an interest in food. Loaded her up with garlic/selcon soaked foods, kept the water as "clean" as possible, and after 3 weeks the lymphocites disappeared.
She's put on maybe 3/4" since then. False eye spot has disappeared. You can see some of her blue in the original pic with 14k lights.
My camera doesnt pick up any blues since i switched to 10k's, good excuse why i havent posted pics of your frags yet

Fatpuffer, Is your puffer in a marine/reef system or brackish?

She's about 4 1/2" now. Her colors in person are more accurate in the original pic under the 14k halides, she's just fattened up a bit and gotten a few broken bars filling in her pattern.
The frags are doing well, that purple stubby has amazing color. Even under my 10k's its absolutely PURPLE. the yellow "table" acro you sent has grown 4 new stalks about put on about 1/2" since its arrival. Harvey put together a calcium reactor for me thats only been running for a few days, very eager to see the growth and color once its dialed in.
BTW, beautiful tank Jamie

Hi Marie, I've got 2 of them in my main tank. I barely saw them for the first month. One month later, they come out more often and I see that they have grown since I got them. However, most of the time, they are hiding in the rocks. They are most visible during feeding time and when my MH lights are off.

Jumping on board now.
Here are some of my guys. Hope you like.
All three fish are about 4-5 inches. The Watanabe Angel is the newest member. Bought him at the end of July.
I can never seem to post pics...... so if I don't get these on they will be in photos in the fish gallery.
