You know the kind.

I have one in main aquarium. Float sits in water and if water level rises, float rises and cuts off power to the pump. It has saved a flood on many occasions.

I need one for the refugium. Where can I get one in lower mainland, preferably Burnaby/Vancouver

Have you tried Rona or HomeDepot? Also irrigation supply companies are a good bet. The one out in Chilliwack that I get supplies from usually has a few different types, so, hopefully one closer to you should carry them. Check the yellow pages. HTH

Rona and home depot say they dont carry something like that.

Home depot carries something similar, but in reverse, so that the pump kicks on when the water level rises.
