Somebody on BCAquaria found this ad. Check it out. I'm out of room so I hope somebody gets it, if the stuff is in good condition.

No, it's 30" deep. That's almost standard now for bigger tanks. Drool, drool.
My fish would be SOOOOOOO happy in a 250g.

Just called the guy up. Really it was just a info call, not to buy it.
It's 15-20 years old so that's why it's still for sale after so many months.
Oh well.

The silicone should not be a problem unless it is leaking already. I have a 66 that is 18 years old and still going strong also an assortment of the old 50's & 60's MetaFrame Aquariums............ never had a leak in any tank I have owned (knock on wood)
I think the major consideration is........... has the tank has been placed on a level surface and has not been torqued on an uneven surface?
Cheers,

i think another consideration is has the tank been left to dry out for extended periods of time or worse yet in the hot sun? this will cause the silicone to break down and become more brittle.
