I have been finding LOTS of these little guys, in the last week I have probably taken out 100 out of my 20gal
Tonight while feeding I picked out a few. They kinda look like sundial but I'm not 100% sure not taking the chances until I have a perfect ID
I grabbed these guy for photos and I dropped about 10 and there was at least another 10 I couldn't get to ....in 5 minutes

the sundial snails that I have are white and look kind of like a throughing star or a gear from a bike.

Were they on your zoos? They look a little too rounded to me, but cant say for sure.

nope. those arent sundials.

sundials have a very distinct checkerboard pattern as mentioned.
also, they have a big opening cover whatchamacallit thingy!

I would not worry about those guys, never on the zoo's .. always on the glass.. I got thousands in my 20gal :) the more the merrier in my opinion :)

sundials are also really flat, almost ramshorn shaped.

Murray read this post.
I believe they are collinista snails. I have a ton of them as well.
Haven't touched anything but the algae as far as I know.

You can usually ID sundials by their cone shaped shell openning cover (see Dead by Dawn's post).
