I don't know about the price for a full grown adult. but EmilyB is buying the one at J&L and it was for sale for $40.

What a sweet little fish..

Very hard to photo....

But just an update...his color is a bit dark in this pic as they are hoarding an algae tab, but I wanted to capture the blue in his fins and scalpel. It glows...so awesome...

Verrrry nice!

Hey, he seems to have a fair bit more yellow in him now? At least compared to the other one pictured at the top! Are the colours fairly variable from individual to individual?

Anyways he's very spiffy looking. I really dig the electric blue highlights. :)

Tony, I think this one is a baby, while the one pictured at the top is an adult. A gorgeous fish either way!!!

Mine is a little older I think,(based on the spread of the bars) and I also think it is a awsome tang. It will change colors it seems depending on what it is doing. When it goes to a cleaning station, whether gobie or shrimp, mine turns a beautiful chocolate brown. It then turns white. The yellow color along with some darkening around the edges comes when its terrorizing my Pakistani Butterflies. Luckily having a few confuses the tang and he forgets which one he's chasing  .

Unfortunantly I probaly won't be able to keep this tang due to its aggressiveness and that bigger tank got put back a little further into the future(tranny bill=$$$).

Actually, when he is relaxed he is whiter, but catching a photo then was impossible.
