Wow, that is beautiful. I've always loved the black maxes. Maybe one day, after I get (salt) water in my tank, I can get one too.

Thanks Brad.

Troy, it's actually more blue than black. Although as time goes on, it does get darker. And yes, I hear they do better with salt in the water :D

Brad, I think I must have one of those clams. Since you didn't send me that pinktail trigger, do you think you could arrange it ? :D

I was actually very close to sending it your way, as the niger didn't like the company.
As for the clam, I would send you this one, but as you know, they attach to the rock and it would be about $100 to ship the whole rock..sorry :-)

Deb, going to Saltspring again? I asked the clam if he minded, but you know how clams can be...didn't say a word. I'll keep workin' on him though.
In the event he wants to stay here, J&L has a great tank full of clams at a price to suit any budget (almost). This particular one came from Seacare via a local LFS. I have a gold one that started at about 1.5" and is now over three inches. Cost me 29 bucks. It's real purdy too

Dang. Well, I'll just have to order one of those one day.

No, Saltspring was, if you recall, not much fun for us...so it's Tofino.

Deb, you're probably going via Nanaimo, but if you're in Victoria, let me know!

Brad, and I'm serious here, you should enter that first photo of the Acro, and the second photo of the Clam in a photo contest. They are both spectacular!

For sure Brad. We've actually done that before, gone in at Nanaimo, and out thru Victoria, just to spend a day there. :D
