I have upgraded my lighting and have this unit for sale. I had it custom made for me in Edmonton and there is no brand name on the ballast. Ballast has built in separate timers for the MH and PC's. Bulbs are all new - used maybe 12 hours total. I can work with you on delivery as I do not want the hassle of shipping. $650 OBO. I don't know how to upload photos but send me your e-mail address and I can send you pictures.
I figured out how to upload photos in my gallery so I have posted a couple there.

Ruth, slip a space after the $650 as at first sight it looked like $6500

Thanks guys. I like the hardwood too. I just put it in last fall to replace a mint green carpet so huge improvement. I live in a log house so it just seems to fit.

You don't take trades do you? Could use those lights for a new tank I am setting up, but if I buy any more in the next while, I think my Wife's gonna kick me out!
(that, or the admins my kick me off for not purchasing my banner on Canreef yet-just workin out the bugs Titus!)

could use a 6' fixture though.

I'm open to anything. What have you got to trade? Don't know if you do aquarium stands but that is definately one thing I want to have build. Not really the stand but the cabinet to surround it (metal stand). Give me a call if you want at (250) 827-3998 or (250) 262-7101

I think I could take on a project like that for you Ruth. You could check out our website www.aquariumstands.net if you wish.

Let me know the dimensions of the steel if you don't mind, and I will see what I can come up with for you. (if you like)

Thanks
Rob

Sounds good to me!!

All kidding aside, I can be pretty flexible-after all, I want the lights, and they are brand new basically! Think there's enough room in there to fit 2 more 250w MH's?

Don't want to mislead you. The bulbs are all brand new. I used the light for about 8 months on a 135g. that I had. I just took the pictures the other day tho so you can see what it looks like. I am not sure if you could fit 2 more MH in there but probably one for sure but you might have to do a bit of moving around. More PC could also fit as I know that I was originally going to go with 6 but decided on 4 instead.

That's not a problem that the fixture isn't brand new. It still looks really good. It'll fit the seven foot tank!

I'll call you tomorrow.
