View Full Version : Gauging interest in Wooden Airstones (3")

A few years back I purchased a lifetime supply of lime wood from a specialty wood supplier. I've been running these airstones for years in my skimmer replacing them every two weeks. I'm going to upgrading to a beckette style skimmer with a new tank and won't have any use for wooden airstones. J&L sells 4" stones for 1.49 and I'm willing to sell the 3" variety for .45 ea. with volume discounts.

Let me know if anyone is interesting. These stones produce nice fine bubbles and you could gang them together to get the amount of foam you are looking for.

I'm in Calgary every 2-3 wks anyway so shipping is not a problem. If you want to try before you buy, I have no problem sending you a couple of free samples.

Trailfish, I'm dredging up this old thread in the hope that you still have that lifetime supply of airstones. Let me know, I'm ready to buy a bunch.

Thanks,
Tim

I sent a pm as well. I'll let you know if I hear anything that's not posted in the thread.

Cpt. - Sent a PM.

Updated cost - 50 cents a piece or $5/dozen.

I'll likely be in Calgary before the end of the month, so shipping would be gratis for any of you in the area. (Give me a chance to check out some tanks!)

Cheers.

I'll take at least two dozen. Let me know when you will be in town.

Thanks,
Tim
