This is now 3 months old. First time ever in keeping anything Saltwater. It's fun. 90 gallons.

Thanks Jack,

I'm using 4 no 40 watt flourescents (3 blues, and one full spectrum), a 13 watt 7200k pc, and a colour temperature boosted 400 watt metal halide, the bulb itself is probably only 4000k but I boosted the colour temperature with gels (my wife is a photographer and knows about colour temps and stuff. You can notice that the metal halide is on the right half of the tank.

Wow! There must be 4 dozen corals in there. 3 months? You've been busy! That explains all your jetting around the province snapping up deals!

Cheers,
AJ

Makes me wish I had something to trade with you... :(

When all those corals grow up, they will need to be split. Babies! (Maybe Calgary babies?)

Cheers,
AJ

Where abouts in Calgary do you live... I'll bring some xenia down for you...I'm bringing Eli some frags just cause I feel really bad that his system crashed...he got me to a good start, so I'm gonna try to start him out a bit...but definitely I can bring xenia down. My in-laws and my parents and other family live in Calgary. I've been cutting mushrooms like crazy.... need more grow out room!!!!

When are you coming down, Des?

I live near Crowchild and Stoney Trail (in Tuscany). I've been to Eli's once before - could meet you there if that's more convenient for you. Would like to see how he's making his comeback.

Good of you to help him out. smile.gif
