can you see a difference?

Seriously.. To my eyes it seems the 1pm one is a bit more vibrant. Not a huge difference but it's there. Maybe a slight shade darker as well. Was the cam set to the same settings for both shots Jamie?

I took the two pics and sampled the color of the coral at the same point. I have put these two colors side by side so you can see the difference better. Keep in mind that the color difference could be due to anything. Extra lighting coming from outside the tank. A ripple of light happened to be over that spot in one shot where it wasn't in the other. etc etc

that aside it does show a difference.

You mean in Size?
Could be my eyeballs,but the shots looks slightly skewed from one another,looking at the rocks on the lower right in both pics.

I think Jamie meant color.. as the pics are 12 hours apart.. if you can see a difference in size with 12 hours only, your eyes are some darned good.. I could have used some better words to describe it but this could be read by small children. images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif and I dont mean people with the mentality of small children.. images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Well I have noticed this for some time now and just wanted to put it to rest an yes there is a difference why is not known.

As for time first shot am was around 9 am and the second was around 6 pm so about 9 hours apart.
