My 30g (24"x24"x12") just rests on a piece of 1/4" plywood... no foam. Everything is level, and it seems fine to me.

Well I had a 30 gallon, no plastic bracing on wood and the bottm craked because the wood warped a bit.

I like foam under all my tanks. It just adds a bit of insurance to the whole mess.

I can see a couple of 2-3mm gaps between wood stand and tank. What foam do you recommend and where can I get it?
