I like Beethoven's "Pathetique" Sonata and moonlight sonata. Bach's "Air on G String" is a cool song too.

Yngwie Malmsteen's "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in E Flat Minor Op. 1" is something different, but none-the-less very cool.

No, I wouldn't compare the two really. Just that most guys that end up interested in guitar players find their way to Holdsworth. He's the musician's musician for guitar players.

like, duh! hehe thanks, and aparently you have good taste too if you think i do... i chose not to add all the 80s dance and industrial just incase it wasn't cool. hehe

my fav smalls concert i saw was in banff with a crowd of about 100 (if even)... was amazing. choke opened for them (another really good band). did you see the smalls when they played at the arts barn with 5 other bands? only other band i can remember is duke of medulla, and MAN did they suck. smalls was the best part. yay mosh pit! not anymore though, getting too old and brittle at my ripe age of 23.

only concert i've ever seen outside of edmonton was the summer sanetarium tour with metallica, linkin park, limp bizkit, mudvayne, and deftones. was the most amazing EVER... next to the tool concert (that was wicked, so artsy and all about the music, not the rockstars... totally appreciated that for a change)
