After reading the calibration and storage instructions, AND looking at the price tag, I think I'll stick with my Ca test kit :eek:

They are great....I have one in my tank right now.
I borrowed it from my rich reef buddy a couple months ago and have not given it back.
Problem is it is one more mechanical device hanging in the tank.

if you look at the latest article in the reefcentral mag about them, they are hardly accurate, but accurate enough to know if your calcium is somewhat close to the right level you want it at for general purposes....

just dont think the decimal points are worth refering to....

I've been in this hobby for almost 3 years now and I don't think I've come close to spending $100 on calcium test kits. It would pay for itself in what...10 years or so? No thanks!
