N E 1 have any extra venturi valves? If not which type of venturi is good? I don't want anything too expensive. Just one to play around with.

I got a Turbo Venturi kit that is designed to attach to the intake on a Maxijet 900-1200.

Rocky! How big a pump do you need for the venturi? How much would you like for it?
If you wanna get a hold of me, call Dez and ask for my number! I'd give it out here but I might get flooded with calls asking for my expert advice. HEhehehehe hahahahahah hohhohoh :D

I used a Rio 3100. Lifereef uses that venturi on their smaller skimmers. I think they use a Little giant 2mdqx-sc, Rio 3100 or a Mag 950.
Here's a DIY link to a powerhead modification you might want to try first before you buy a venturi. It's really easy to do... http://saltaquarium.about.com/library/weekly/aa091099.htm
I want $15 for mine if you want it.

Duaine,

It was nice seeing you the other day. If Simon doesn't want it, I'll take it cause I have a skimmer with a broken venturi on it. Can you bring it to Aquarium Illusions next time you come. I can give it to Simon for you if Simon wants it. Him and I are good friends. Or, that will give you a reason to come see my tank smile.gif
