hi, just got my first Candy Cane Coral. do i need to mount this to a piece of lr? currently i have it placed on top of a piece of lr.
if i need to mount it, i need to use a type of super glue? any reference/guidance would be appreicated.

You could probably just wedge it in between some rocks, should be fine.

I don't think there's any need to mount it on anything. Just let it lay there and grow. :smile:

how about acclimation (in terms of lighting)? currently running 250w/14k and i have the coral at the bottom of a 24" tall tank.

should adjust to that just fine - thought they can handle higher light, it's not a necessity.

how about feeding? do i need to supplement\feed it? ive got marine snow - plankton diet. would this do? do i feed with a turkey baster or just add to the water?

Candycane corals have feeding tentacles that usually come out at night or early morning, but if you skirt a bit of food (mysis/brine shrimp juice) in their direction, they can be trained to come out and feed during the day.
