Tusks are like dwarf angels they can be put in a reef tank but some nibble on coral some dont.

Nice tank. Hard to belive from the pics it is only 120. What are the dimsensions 4*2*2?

They eat inverts like candy. Snails, shrimp, ect.

I'm new at this so...

I noticed in the pictures (I think at least) that you dont have any sand on the forward half of the tank? Is this true? And if so, what are the benefits of this?

Yeah the tusk won't touch any corals but he had a nice shrimp dinner one night :sad: , so far he hasn't touched any snails though.

Dimensions are 4x2x2.

The reason I have no sand at the front is due to the current - I have sugar sized sand and it just gets blown away. Where there is no sand is slowly starting to be covered by coraline.

i have the same problem, i threw some crushed coral down there but i don't like the way it looks. i think im going to pull it out and just the coraline grow on the glass.
